Using Jonogoner Kotha means you accept these terms, the community guidelines, the privacy policy and the cookie notice. If you do not accept them, do not sign in and do not submit an opinion.
Your account
You sign in through a provider we have switched on. There is no password on this site. You are responsible for that provider account. One person, one account. Do not share it, and do not open an account for someone else.
Your words
You keep the copyright in what you write. You give us permission to store it, to display it as you asked, and to moderate it. Submit only what you have the right to publish. Do not paste someone else’s article and call it your own.
The rules
The guidelines are part of these terms. We may refuse an opinion, hide it, or remove it, and we may suspend an account that keeps breaking them. You get a reason. While the opinion is still yours to edit, you may correct it and submit it again.
The law of Bangladesh
The site is operated under the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, including the Constitution, the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 and the Cyber Security Act, 2026. Do not post what those laws forbid: defamation, incitement, a child’s sexual content, or another person’s private information.
We may remove such a post. Where the law requires us to keep a copy for a lawful investigation, we keep only that copy, and only for that purpose.
What this site is not
Opinions here are the writers’ own. They are not news, not legal advice and not our view. We do not promise that the site will be up at every moment, or that every opinion is accurate. A moderator checks it against the guidelines. A moderator does not check it against the world.
Stopping
You may stop at any time and delete the account from your settings. We may suspend an account that repeats a breach. Suspension is told to you the next time you sign in. We do not send that notice by email.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction. Write to us on the contact page before you go further. We would rather correct a page than meet you in court.
